Research Study: Co-designing the iCanBlend Model

The iCanBlend research project is conducted by A/Prof Joanne Shaw; Prof Emerita Phyllis Butow; Dr Heather Shepherd; A/Prof Lisa Beatty; and PhD student Kelly Nunes-Zlotkowski.

The Research Team is conducting a focus-group study to co-design a cancer-specific, blended psychological support model for cancer patients with anxiety or depression.


The Research Team are looking for professionals who are either:

1. Psycho-oncology clinicians (e.g. psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers) working clinically with adult cancer patients in Australia and who have training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and/or have delivered CBT to their patients as part of their clinical role or

2. Psycho-oncology researchers with experience in intervention development.

 
If you decide to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete a short online survey. You will also be asked to participate in focus groups (via videoconference).
 
The online survey will take up to 15 minutes to complete. Each Zoom focus group may take up to 90 minutes. We expect that up to 3 Zoom meetings will be required for achieving consensus on the model. Total time commitment will be up to 5h.
