RESTORE

What is the study about?

Cancer-related fatigue is a common symptom experienced by brain cancer survivors, affecting their quality of life.

RESTORE is an online intervention that has been shown to improve people’s ability to self-manage their cancer-related fatigue.

However, previous evaluations of RESTORE did not include any brain cancer survivors.

This study aims to determine the suitability of RESTORE for people living with brain cancer.

What are we doing?

To pursue this aim, we are currently conducting semi-structured interviews to explore aspects of the RESTORE intervention requiring modification to tailor its suitability for people living with brain cancer.

These interviews are being conducted with health care professionals experienced in caring for people with brain cancer; adults with brain cancer; and, caregivers of adults with brain cancer.

What do we expect to find?

The results of these interviews will enable us to adapt the RESTORE intervention to meet the unique needs of people living with brain cancer.

What are our next steps?

We have completed recruitment and are currently preparing publications resulting from this work.
